8. Will Autoprint work with my printer?
Autoprint sends packing slips and labels straight to your printer, without you having to install software or drivers. For that, your printer does need to support an open printing standard. Here is how to check.

Label printers
Label printers that speak ZPL, such as most thermal label printers, and receipt printers that speak ESC/POS. Connected over the network or over USB. Autoprint sends the label code straight to the printer.
Network printers for A4 packing slips
Any printer with a network or wifi connection that supports AirPrint, Mopria or IPP Everywhere. That covers the vast majority of printers sold in the last ten years. Autoprint sends a ready-made PDF to the printer.
USB printers
A printer connected only over USB works if it supports IPP-over-USB. That is usually the case for printers that mention AirPrint or Mopria on the box. If you are not sure, a network cable or a simple print server is the safest solution.
What does not work
Older and cheaper USB printers without a network connection often only work with the bundled Windows software that prepares the print job on the computer. Autoprint cannot drive printers like that.
How to check
1. Look on the box or in the manual. If it mentions AirPrint, Mopria or IPP Everywhere, your printer will work.
2. Look up your model. The Mopria Alliance and the Printer Working Group keep public lists of certified models.
